WIN Tokina RMC 17mm F3.5 | Winner Announced

I’m very happy to announce yet another Tokina RMC 17mm F3.5 giveaway!

If you don’t know much about this lens, make sure to check out my in-depth review here and as you can probably tell, I like this lens a lot myself, so I’m sad to let it go, but I have made my decision and believe this will make a great price for this giveaway!

This lens comes in a few different mounts, my copy has the FD mount, so I would mainly recommend it to E-mount and M4/3 users, because it’s not really compatible with  Canon EF cameras. Keep this in mind when entering the giveaway. If you a Canon EF mount camera and you don’t think that you’ll use this lens, maybe it’s better to give someone else a chance who will make the best use of it. This giveaway is quite costly to me, but as long as the winner will truly enjoy using this lens, I’ll feel it’s money well spent.

A quick word on a condition of the lens. It’s obviously a vintage lens, so there are some signs of age, but overall it’s still in great condition.

Rules, Terms & Condition for the Giveaway:

To manage the whole giveaway I’m using a rafflecopter.com to help me track all the entries and pick a winner.

Entering is very simple, all you need to do is complete 1 of 7 steps below. To qualify for 1 entry you only need to complete 1 step, but completing more steps will give you more entries, hence give you higher chance of winning. Please note, that the winner will NOT be chosen by the amount of entries. The extra completed steps will simply give you higher chance of being picked, so feel free to complete as many or as few as you like, just make sure that you do it through rafflecopter widget below. Any entries made in any other way will not be entered into competition, only the ones processed through rafflecopter.

The giveaway is open to everyone. I will ship anywhere in the world for free, so don’t let your location stop you from entering; previous winners included people from US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Italy, Algeria and other countries! I will try to post this lens by a recorded postal service, which will require a signature on delivery (depending on location of the winner), but in an unfortunate event of the lens going missing in transit, I will not be held responsible and no alternative prize will be offered. Fortunately this has never happened and hopefully never will.

Important: The Winner must contact me via Website/Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/Vimeo/Email within 2 weeks of the Winner Announcement Video. If I’m not contacted within 2 weeks, I will have to pick a new winner. The reason for doing this is due to some people entering just for the sake of it, not really caring about the prize and who might not even use it once if they win. I spend my own money to fund these giveaways (postage sometimes costs as much as the lens itself) and I want the lenses I give away to end up with someone who will actually use them and hopefully benefit from having them as part of their kit.

Good luck to everyone entering!

Supporting Giveaways: As you may know, I don’t have any sponsors and I fund all my giveaways myself. I giveaway what I can and as often as I can, but giveaways like this are very costly, especially because I volunteer to send lenses to anyone, anywhere in the world, which can cost quite a bit. I don’t ask for any donations and instead I’ve joined the ebay affiliate program to help me run this website, fund my tests & lens giveaways like this, so you’d like to support this and future giveaways,  please bookmark and/or use this link if you want to buy anything else on eBay or this link if you shop on eBay.co.uk. You will not be spending a penny more using these links, while still helping as eBay will pay out a small percentage from any purchase or successful bid, which in turn will support new content on www.vintagelensesforvideo.com

  1. really appreciate your love and generosity for vintage lenses. I use mainly vintage lenses on new mirrorless cameras and the access to optical IQ and sensory intelligence is amazing. Thanks for all the work in sharing of the knowledge of these lenses – their design and even giving them away.

  2. Awesome!! My favourite focal length and favourite make (I own the 135mm and shoot with a SIGMA Sd14. Cheers!
